Chili Thread

This traditional Korean ingredient is made from red chile peppers. These extremely thin strings or “threads” impart a fresh and slightly smoky, earthy and bright flavor and have a mild heat profile with a Scoville rating of 100-1,000 Heat Units. These can be mixed into dishes or used as a garnish.
