• Alto Adige sits in the Italian Dolomiti, a northeastern mountain range that borders Austria and Switzerland, where the growing season is insanely short, the diurnal range is vast, and fairy tale vistas abound
• Darker, more structured rosé of Lagrein (from old vines on iron rich soil) is how they do pink here
• Made like a baby red, with extended bottle aging before release -- 2021 is the current vintage!
• And drinks like a light red -- ripe red fruit (the summers are warm here!), bright acidity, silky tannins + a pine-y herbal finish
• Drink chilled but not too cold!
